Meet the dedicated staff guiding our church family with faith and care.

Senior Pastor Adam Hagood

Pastor Adam began serving at McPheeters Bend in 2021 as Youth Pastor and stepped into the role of Senior Pastor in 2023. He felt God's call to preach in 2009 and has been faithfully pursuing that calling ever since. Adam holds a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master's degree in Education. He is married to his wife, Katie, and together they have two sons. Pastor Adam has a deep love for the Lord and a strong passion for sharing the Gospel and shepherding others in their walk with Christ. He has a special heart for families and youth and is committed to reaching the surrounding community through meaningful outreach and service.

Delores Berry - Administrative Assistant

Delores has been the Admin Assistant at McPheeters Bend Baptist Church since 2021. Delores is truly the brains behind everything that happens in the ministries of McPheeters Bend! Her heart can be seen in the way that she graciously helps everyone succeed and how she lovingly answers each question and request that the staff can come up with. Delores is in the church office weekly on Monday and Tuesday where she serves the church and the community faithfully.

Justin and Autumn came to McPheeter's Bend in 2025 with a heart and passion to see teenagers come to know Christ in a radical way. Building a strong biblical faith in the Word of God in a way that teenagers can understand is their call. Justin received a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from Clear Creek Baptist Bible College in 2010 and Autumn has a Master's Degree in Social Work as well as Child and Family therapy from Fordham University. They have three sons and a house full of pets!

Ryan Redman- Music Director

Katie Hagood- Children's Ministry

Ryan has been our Music Director at McPheeter's Bend since September 2024. He was saved at 15 years old and a few years later he became the drummer at FBC Church Hill, a role he served in for 8 years. God then led him, his wife Kali, and their son Silas to us. Ryan is also a deacon in our church. If you have any questions relating to our Music Ministry please reach out to him.

Katie serves as our Children's Ministry Director. She came to McPheeter's Bend in 2021 when her husband, Adam, began serving as Youth Pastor. Katie has a deep passion for sharing the Gospel with children and helping them grow in their faith. She also serves as the Senior Director of School Age Childcare at the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA
